Get the Notebook: Six Words on Motherhood by Oregon Moms

May 9, 2015

Scout-Book-Cover (1)We’re excited to reveal our great Mother’s Day notebook that includes so many great Six Word Memoirs on Motherhood by Oregon Moms.* We loved hearing from so many moms across Oregon when we asked for your take on motherhood in a mere 6 words.  No easy task!  But a fun one…

The memoirs ranged from snarky to sweet, dramatic to true-blue.  And everywhere in between. While there were clear differences in tone, lens, and mood, there were also similarities — of course!  And we are very honored to include six words from our new Governor, Kate Brown, as well as former Governor Barbara Roberts, state senator Sara Gelser, and Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici.

There are two ways to get your hands on one (or more!):

  1. Become a member! When you become a member of Family Forward Action, you get one as a free thank you gift  (unless you choose our stylin’ “Activist in Training” onesie instead…).  Click here to find the membership level that’s best for you and choose your free gift.
  2. Buy some. We’re selling them for $7 each or $12 for two here.

  • Don’t make me stop the car.
  • Had two; lost two; my choice.
  • Now and then, you see heaven.
  • All I do is wipe things.

PS — You can still submit your Six Words on Motherhood here (we’ve got more ideas up our sleeve to share them with the world): http://bit.ly/SixOnMotherhoodOregon. There’s also a Facebook link to share it with friends.
