An annual fundraiser for Family Forward Oregon, Dance Like a Mother 2025 is the dance party of the year. This year’s theme is Homecoming Dance Party Fundraiser Extravaganza!
WHEN: Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 6:30pm – 9:30pm
WHERE: Holocene, 1001 Southeast Morrison Street, Portland, OR 97214
WHY: With recent attacks on our collective futures — from cuts to Medicare and Medicaid to the attempted blows to the Head Start program — the need for collective action has never been greater. The time is now for us to step up and fight back. And that’s just what Family Forward and our community of parents and caregivers is doing!
Once a year, we invite the community to join us in dancing the night away to support of our year-round advocacy efforts. Together, we meet the crises our communities are facing — like the ongoing child care crisis — head-on.
And to better embody who we are, we’re working on a rebrand! Family Forward is entering a new era of fierce advocacy, and we want you to be a part of it.
We’ll be showcasing all the new branding at DLAM. So join us for an unforgettable night of music and dancing with guest DJ Mami Miami and emcee Poison Waters! Enjoy refreshing drinks, tasty bites, exciting raffles, and a photo booth to capture memories. Dress up in your best homecoming attire and help us crown Dance Like a Mother royalty.
